Does this happen with a wired or wireless PC or laptop?
What browser are you using on the mobile phone?
Try 192.168.1.1 in the browser?
BTW on a wired computer on LAN i still get routed to the same page and on top of that the page does not display and instead i get
404 - File or directory not found.
Sounds like something is messed up on the WEB Ui.
Might do a factory reset and walk thru the setup wizard with the wired PC and web browser. Be sure to write down important information for safe keeping. Use MS Edge browser.
Two ways to workaround the issue:
1. Use the NETGEAR Nighthawk App to setup the router.
2. Connect a computer to the router through a wire (Ethernet), then use a browser from the computer to finish the setup. Make sure the computer does not have VPN or DNS over TLS function enabled, and the computer gets the DNS sever setting from the router, it's usually the default settings on a computer.
