RS90-Can't connect to a Chromecast/Google Streamer?
Picked up the RS90 earlier today and got everything set up pretty easily. Only issue is that the Chromecast and Google Streamer won't seem to connect. I managed to get the Chromecast connected ea...
WiFi7 is "backward compatible" with both WiFi6 and WiFi5. These devices should connect...... unless.... the router has been set to a security level that the Chromecast does not support. (WPA3?)
This seems unlikely since the Chromecast has connected successfully... correct?
Yes, 1.1.1.94 is the most recent firmware for the RS90.
If your RS90 can't connect to a Chromecast or Google streamer, try the following:
Check Wi-Fi: Ensure both devices are on the same network.
Restart devices: Power cycle the RS90 and Chromecast.
Update firmware: Ensure the RS90 and Chromecast have the latest updates.
Enable casting: On the RS90, confirm casting/streaming settings are enabled.
Reset network settings if all else fails.
