Wi-Fi ping spikes every 10 seconds.
Ping jumps from around 5 ms to 100 ms every 10 seconds. The issue is reproducible only when connected via Wi-Fi. When connected to the router with an Ethernet cable, the problem does not occur. R...

The router shows strange behavior that may be related to DHCP, DNS, or client state handling.
Devices often cannot connect to the router even when the Wi-Fi password is correct. Restarting the affected devices usually does not help. The issue is resolved only after rebooting the router.
One Tuya-like IoT device shows a specific case: if it is connected to the router and the router is rebooted, the IoT device can no longer reconnect until the IoT device itself is restarted.
Most other affected devices are iOS/macOS devices. For example, if a device is connected to the router and then its network settings are reset, it can no longer connect to the router, even though the Wi-Fi network is still visible in the list.
The same issue can happen after resetting network settings on an iPhone, reconnecting to Wi-Fi, and then changing Private Wi-Fi Address from Rotate to Fixed.
Cloud Gateway Ultra also shows that even when the affected device is not actually connected to Wi-Fi, the router still displays one or two phantom devices in the list of connected clients. These devices appear to have failed to connect in reality.
It looks like the router keeps some stale client state and then does not allow the same device to reconnect. Rebooting the router clears the issue.
Steps to reproduce:
- Connect an iOS/macOS device to the router via Wi-Fi.
- Reset network settings on the device.
- Try to reconnect to the same Wi-Fi network.
- Alternatively, on iPhone, reconnect to Wi-Fi and change Private Wi-Fi Address from Rotate to Fixed.
- Observe whether the device can connect.
- Check the connected clients list in Cloud Gateway Ultra.

I don’t know why this topic keeps getting attached as a reply here, but could you help with this as well?

Does same thing happen if the RS is in router mode?
Wondering if some odd issue maybe happening while in AP mode.
Are they getting connect with wifi and not getting an IP address or just not getting connected at all?
If you reset the network settings on the device then this wipes out the configured connection with the wifi system and will need to be re-connected to the system. Will not reconnect if the settings are cleared. This would be expected behavior. Network resets on devices should only be used in last resort for troubleshooting purposes.
My iphone 17 Pro Max connects fine to my RS600 and RS700 when they are online. Though my RS is in router mode. I can try AP mode as well and see if this happens.

Haven't tried in router mode but I believe this might be because of AP mode
not getting connected at all(getting message that can't connect when you enter wifi password)
I reproduced this on mac and on IPhone(easier on iPhone since you have a separate reset button for the network) always reproduced by these steps (ensure you're connected to the router > reset network via that separate button that erase all network settings > connect to RS after this > switch to different privacy option ) - it might work, but try to enable-disable plane mode or simply trigger phone to reconnect to the router - if even after this it's not reproduced - then it's only on AP mode, or N/A to 600/700
