If you have Smart Connect enabled, I suggest you disable Smart Connect, use different network name (SSID) for the 2.4GHz and the 5GHz, connect your devices to the 5GHz (if the range is not too far away), and see if it helps. You may just change the 2.4GHz SSID to xxx-2.4 to keep the 5GHz's SSID xxx unchanged.
