Wifi 7 RS300 router. PC wont connect to internet but wifi is connected.
Just got this router a couple days ago. Initially all working fine. Now my PC will connect to the 5ghz band however there is no internet access. Can't open browser pages, can't load my internet based ...
So its not just my PC. Last night full internet drop. My ISP says everything is fine on their end no service loss. Tech just came out said light levels are good (fiber). The internet did randomly come back middle of the night. I checked the router logs, getting a bunch of dos attack logs. Found online this is apparently a common thing with NG routers? I keep seeing suggestions for turning off dos logging however im not sure how to do that. I dont see any option for it. I did search a lot of the IPs listed, many come back to amazon or google. However there were a couple that were from other countries like germany. Im not sure what my next steps should be. I disabled protection engine on the router now waiting to see if i have another drop in service or not.
