Win11 "Can't connect to this network" error

I finally got it working! I don't know much about network stuff, so I can't explain this very well. But what I ended up having to do is using netsh in a command window to assign "permission" to my SSID. That did it! I have no idea why I had to do that though. I'm just lucky that I remembered that issue from last time I had an issue.
I even took the internal card out thinkin it might be causing an issue!
Anyway, I bought a USB Wi-Fi stick (BrosTrend 6500). It is working well. I am getting speeds of around 61Mbps in my shop in the backyard. That's a whole lot better than my old setup.

I'm not sure. It is out in my shop. It is probably 4 years old or so? Can't remember. I remembered today that I had to send it back immediately after I received it because wifi didn't work. Interesting. It has been temperamental over the years.
I have changed the cards out (batteries and drives too) in our older Pavilions. Not too bad. I was thinking though, that the USB stick might be a better option. This laptop is a shop laptop. Said shop is a small building out back. I have been using an extender to get the signal out there (with the ATT Pacer router). My hope is that with the external antennas, I can eliminate the extender in the middle. I'll see what happens.
I tried to replace a internal wifi card on my pavilion g6 from 2012. Won't let me. LOL. Said card was not supported at the BIOS screen and it had to be removed. I guess laptop is just too old. LOL. So will end up finding a USB adapter for it though the old wifi card still works, just up to N mode supporting is all. Some laptops can be particular and specific on what can be upgraded. Unless desktop PCs. :o)
