Hello. I am trying to set up WPS but I need the PIN. What is the WPS PIN for RS700S ? I tried setting the password after a factory reset to the original password which is all lower case but it do...
Page 114 of the user manual describes characteristics of good passwords but does not state REQUIREMENTS. What happens when the all lower case password is entered in both fields?
Can you just ignore this message?
If the system allowed an all lower case password during initial setup, it seems cruel to "change the rules" after user devices have seen set up with that password.

Netgear routers seem to be programmed to remember every device that has ever been connected (by MAC address). The implication is that if the user ever enables Access Control, the system will need to know which devices to allow access and which to deny.
I would start by looking up those MAC addresses in one of the internet "who made this network adapter?" web sites to see how they are described. (such as https://www.wireshark.org/tools/oui-lookup.html ).
For a couple of years now, vendors of mobile devices have offered an option to randomize the MAC address when the device connects to a new WiFi system. This is intended to provide security against someone tracking the device as it moves from one location to another. (for example: https://discussions.apple.com/thread/254895025?sortBy=rank )
It could be that some device connected several times with different MAC addresses and the router filled in that field with random garbage.
