RBR853 Orbi Satellites zijn onbeveiligd, geen WPA 2 terwijl routen wel beveiligd is
Orbi router draait in AP mode, beide satellite's bedraad aangesloten, na een week ontstond er een extra onbeveiligd netwerk. Uitgezonden door beide satellite's.
Het rare is dat het guest netwerk wel beveiligd door de satellite's wordt uitgezonden.
Heb al wat resets uitgevoerd en het systeem opnieuw opgezet.
Heeft iemand enig idee hoe dit op te lossen is ?

FreoI placed the Router and 2 Satellites next to each other, only the Router WAN connected, Resetted all 3 and ran a new setup. Had to reset the Satellites multiple times, but in the end they 'connected'.
So, no rocket science but patience.
For the last three month it's working flawless ( as wired AP's ).

Exact het zelfde probleem. Router staat ook in AP mode. Alles gereset en firmware versie ge- update naar : V3.2.18.1_1.4.14 ook toen werkte het niet. Diep teleurgesteld in een dure oplossing.
Ik zou graag vanuit Netgear de oplossing willen zien.

To 'isolate' the faulty satellite, you might install the app 'Wifi Explorer' , to discover, monitor, and troubleshoot
wireless networks. Scan your wireless network, you can even see the hidden network and what channel they use yo communicate, incuding the security status.
But in the end, Netgear should give us the solution to solve this problem.
