downloading documents from readycloud
Since the last firmware update to 6.5.1 any .pdf, .doc, or .xls file I try to download remotely (pc, or mobile) is a corrupt file with a file size of 1k. I kept thinking Netgear would figure this ou...

I saw that thread eariler. The files I'm trying to download are in the root shares folder i.e. (\ReadyCLOUD\NASname\data\Documents). They file name is as generic as it can be. Specifically it's labeled "503.pdf". It's a 700kb file and it only downloads as a 1kb file that is corrupt or something. Tried opening multiple file types, naming conventions, in multiple locations and they all have this issue. So nothing in that thread is useful to our issue.

The only real difference is that they found that shortening the path name resolved their problem - which doesn't work for you.
You could still pm JohnRo and see if he is willing to help diagnose.

I had exactly this problem, which by trial and error I narrowed down to how downloads were processed by my browser, in my case I was using the download manager of Avant browser, once I disabled it downloads were perfect, or you could try a few browsers to see if they work.

Bedlam, I tried a few differnt browsers and had no luck there.
