May 26, 2016You should have read the manual.
Prior to adding the second HDD, you should have disabled XRAID.
Now the damage is done, you can't go back. You need to backup your data, destroy the volume, recreate the way you want and reimport.
Alternatively, you could turn off XRAID, remove the new HDD, format it in a PC, reinsert it in the NAS, create a new volume onto it, transfer the data from the degraded RAID1 to the new volume, destroy the degraded RAID1 and recreate a second volume. Do this at your own risks, if you have understood the instructions.
