SSH to remove share that wont go

Welcome to the community.
After turning off Egnyte did you try rebooting the NAS and then checking if you could delete the share?
If you have, then it appears the issue you have described requires assistance from the engineers and/or higher tier who can remote in to the NAS and fix this from the backend.
Log in to your mynetgear.com account and create a support ticket. If you are beyond your 90-day complimentary support period, please consider purchasing a contract from the support group so they can escalate your issue to L3.
If you are not in a hurry lets patiently wait for anyone in the community who has the knowledge in the SSH commands and fixing some issues from the backend.
Deleting a share manually from the backend would require not only deleting a share but deleting all the references to it in several different config files/directories.
Egnyte used to be an app but now enabling/disabling it is managed from the Cloud tab of the web admin page. It's normal that it doesn't show in the app list.
