Well on the folder where I wanted to record downloaded files from Transmission torrent client, rights are set to read/write for everyone
However if I create a new folder from scratch and I set it for downloading files then they are written correctly
The difference between the two folders is that in the new folder the DLNA service is not active
Are the torrents directly stored in the download folder, or are they copied there after the torrent completes?
If the DLNA scanner tries to scan the a media file that isn't fully downloaded, it will of course run into corruption in the file. That could easily create problems with the scanning.

Hi pic1234,
If you follow the steps on this link, are you able to see the Share that you desginated?
How do I change default access rights to files and folders on my ReadyNAS OS 6 storage system?
If you can, then try following the succeeding steps on how to change permissions.

Hi pic1234,
Can you try to disable the DLNA, reboot the NAS then enable the DLNA on the folder that you wish to use?
