Hi, I just installed the Netgear Syslog Server on my ReadyNAS 314 but can't find any guides on how to send the ReadyNAS syslog events to the syslog server. If someone could point my in the right direc...

The benefit is sending syslog events to a remote server. You can consolidate many systems into one event database. It also helps if you are being rooted/hacked, the bad guy can't just wipe the journal to cover his tracks.
