Thank you Marc.
There doesn't seem to be any messages.
There is no cap on the NAS itself, and the Dropbox ap installed only has three settings.
The cap for the dropbox account is around 5tb and we are at 3tb.
Attached are screen shots of image uploaded (uploadedchicken) uploaded through the web interface, and then a screen shot showing the local files on the NAS without the uploaded file appearing. I do not know how much time should be allowed to pass.
So, syncing is not happening in either direction bewtween the NAS and the dropbox account.
I have set up this same NAS twice to work with Ignight and havent had issues, and I am familiar with them, fyi.
Thanks again.

Have you tried with one way sync? did it sync the data to the Dropbox?

Actually, I made a dns addition to the network card setting on the NAS, then restarted it. I am seeing a lot of activity now, and the NAS is downloading a lot of stuff. I created a folder in the cloud via the dropbox web interface and it created tht same folder on the NAS.
The direction is still set to bidirectional. Do you know what methodology it uses for the exchange of files? Meaning, does it perform all the downloads first, then do the uploads, or is it a function of date/timestamp, or some secret formola. I'm just wondering if once it catches up on all the downloads if it will then go through all the uploads to be in sync. Hopefully that will be the case.
If that is indeed what happens then I should hopefully be good to go, thopugh I would have a solid answer as to why. Thanks!
(screen shot shows that there is a lot of download activity by the device now)

All right, it seems that DNS is the answer. You can click on accepted solution button once we are sure that everything is working.
If I am correct it dowloads all data to dropbox first then any changes made on both end will be updated.
