Hi!
I have some questions regarding the apps that can be found on rnxtras.com, but I am unable to find a registration button so that I can post on that forum...
I am thinking of purchasing HeadPhones and OwnCloud and I am wondering if these apps will update automatically to new versions with their own update mechanisms or do I need to wait for update packages to be built?
Thank you in advance!

Do you see the option to register when you go to checkout? - WhoCares_MentorThere was a problem with one of the modules used after the automatic update of the site to WordPress 4.0. This has been fixed and works again now. Sorry for the troubles.
-Stefan - medocAspirantHi,
I've just bought the RNAirPrint app on rnxtras.com.
I’ve checked my priter before and it should be supported by HPLIP.
I’ve installed RNAirPrint as per the installation guide, still I am not able to make it work.
I get “/usr/lib/cups/filter/hpcups failed” error.
Do you know any means to correct this problem?
BTW. What more does RNAirPrint do for 3 USD compared to CUPS and HPLIP? I don’t really see any more than that…?
thanks,
medoc - WhoCares_MentorWhat's the printer model you're using? What version of hplip got installed on your ReadyNAS and is your printer supported in *that* version?
Where do you get that error?

Hi Stefan,
It's an HP LaserJet Professional P1102.
HPLIP version is 3.12.6-3.1+deb7u1
My printer is supported from 3.10.4: http://hplipopensource.com/hplip-web/models/laserjet/hp_laserjet_professional_p1102.html
CUPS version is 1.5.3-5+deb7u4
Thanks for your help!
medoc - medocAspirantI have solved the mystery :)
The "Next comes the model selection" part cam be a bit misleading, as the top selection is the printer model in question, however it's a driver-less setup.
I overlooked that the selection box contains a lot of other real drivers as well, so I had to scroll down a lot to find my model's drivers. Now it's working like a charm.
I suggest to edit the configuration guide to highlight this, as it can be pretty much misleading.
BR,
medoc
OFF TOPIC: now the only thing I need is an arm version of automatic :) (http://github.com/1100101/Automatic)
