Where to download apps for the ReadyNAS 102

The 102 is severely underpowered both CPU and RAM wise and not, IMHO, well suited for running most apps.   It's outdated security is also important if any of those apps allow internet access.  You are typically much better off buying a micro-PC on which to run the apps and linking the NAS as storage for the PC apps to use.  You could also do the same with a more current NAS, but then the need for the 102 at all is diminished.

Note also that many apps still won't install until you make changes at the OS level via SSH to allow the download of dependencies from the Linux archive site instead of the active Linux distro site and any that have to download Netgear-specific dependencies will not install because Netgear took down their server.
