Are you sing X-RAID or FLEX-RAID?
In X-RAID configuration, the above should give a volume size of ~7.x TB.
Can you screenshot the volumes page for us? "System" --> "Volumes".

Although it is on XRAID, it is currently using RAID6. Did you add 2 disks to the existing volume at the same time? Do you have full backup of the files? If not and you can still access files, please back up.

No, I don't have backups - but it's ok. And yes, I did exchange 2 volumes mostly at the same time. What do I have to do to get the full capacity?

Hello rtrogemann,
If it's okay with you, access the boot menu then factory reset the NAS with the disks in so it will format the disks and allow you to create a new volume using XRAID which normally it uses RAID5 automatically. See this RAID calculator as a guide.
