I have recently purchased a readNAS ultra 4 and set it up on the network... At first all seemed to be well, however I have not been able to get time machine backups to work well. When I first activate...

To save reading ... if you go to 'advanced->advanced network' and then check the box for 'Enable Multicast Streams' everything seems to start working! I had to disable and then re-enable time machine on the readyNAS and now it shows up and so far I have not lost the connection! I can also see my afp shares along with my shared printer!
