FFMPEG Install on ready nas 214
I want to install ffmpeg on my NAS. Ran below command and able to install it apt-get install ffmpeg But I am getting error when trying to convert file. Mainly audio from AC to AC3. It s...

Do you mean AAC to AC3???
You shouldn't need to compile ffmpeg, you just need to add the appropriate codec libraries. I'd try this first: https://unix.stackexchange.com/questions/149091/how-to-add-aac-and-libx264-to-ffmpeg-installation
As you likely know, you don't need sudo. You likely do need to reconfigure ffmpeg to use the libraries (though you might try it first before you do that). You might not want to use his configure command as is, since you might want the features he is disabling.
