How to open RAIDiator ".13" file type?
I am trying to install an old ReadyNAS RND2210 v2 on a new computer. I downloaded the RAIDiator-5.3.13 file from this site at https://www.netgear.com/support/product/RND2110v2.aspx#download and extra...

Hi, came across this question as I'm also trying to setup an old NV+ V2 but after following this when it tries to open a web page I get the error
192.168.1.11 uses an unsupported protocol.
ERR_SSL_VERSION_OR_CIPHER_MISMATCH
I've looked up this but can't get a fix that works.
Any help would be appreciated.

Note many owners of the original (sparc-based) NV+ mistakenly think they have a v2 (which is arm-based). Options for solving the mismatch problem are somewhat different, so it is important to be certain about the platform.
The original NV+ (called v1 here)
- runs 4.1.x firmware
- says ReadyNAS NV+ on the front panel.
- often has other labels that suggest it is a v2 or a v3.
The NV+ v2
- runs 5.x firmware
- says ReadyNAS NV+ v2 on the front panel.

Hi Stephen B
Thanks for the reply. I do have the NV+ V2 and running 5.3.....
The problem now is
1. windows doesn't see it ( LG TV and Denon media player see it but can't find anything on it)
2. I can't web into it ( that's the error I get)
I've only just found a video that recommends using CENT Browser and that now allows me to get to the login screen.
Now I have to just sort out my password.....
Thanks again

Go into "turn windows features on and off" and enable SMB/CIFS 1.0.

Now that you are in, you can install this add-on:
More details are in the thread I linked earlier. But this will update the web server in the NAS to use TLS 1.2. That will let you use any browser.

I have done this and edited the registry but the netgear is very hit & miss on whether it's found. An Etrayz Nas is always found. This particular problem is a windows issue as when there's a major update it has to be done again.
Thanks for the link to update the web server in the NAS to use TLS 1.2
It would be handy if Netgear built this into a new firmware update so that when errors occur we can easily web in to clean things up.
As we know google is great but it can bring up a lot of rubbish.
Thanks for all the replies. I'm currently 12 hours in and still waiting for the unit to resync.
I think that I'll have to look for a newer model.
thanks again for the help
