LCD shows "kmem_cache_free_+8" NAS off-line and unavailable
FW 6.6 - plenty of free space on 3 disks installed - backup to external USB drive
System working fine. no problems for a long time. backup usb drive full, reformatted and reinstalled. everything fine.
Set up backups (4 sequential) last night. Upon getting up this morning, the NAS was off-line, volumes unavailable, RAIDAR sees no storage on-line.
what to do?
HELP.

Reboot the NAS and download the logs and send those in (see the Sending Logs link in my sig).
It sounds likely you ran into an Out of Memory error condition which would indicate there was a memory leak of some kind.
