Looking for a ReadyNAS NV+ model RND4000v3 for sale
Hello, My ReadyNAS NV+ model RND4000v3, does not boot properly (falls in an infinite loop). I want to find the same model, so that I can install my current disks on it. Does someone have such a un...

Are you sure this isn't due to a drive problem? It could also be memory or maybe the PSU.
Note that the v3 bit is just a small hardware revision - this is the original NV+, not the arm-based NV+ v2. Any NV+ or NV that says "ReadyNAS NV+" on the front panel is compatible. NAS with "ReadyNAS NV+ v2" on the front panel are not.

Thank you so much for the reply.
On the front it says NV+
On the back is this:
I have also uploaded a video of the issue I have here:
I have tried all the stuff the helpdesk people said, but the fact that this model is no longer supported did not help...Any ideas?- SandsharkMar 09, 2025Sensei
What, if anything, does the display say during this? You may want to remove the protective film on it so you can read it better. Does it behave any differently if you start it up with no drives installed?

The screen is blank/dead. It seems it fails at the very start of the booting process, before even it displays the "Booting" message on the screen.
Makes no difference if there are drive(s) inserted or not.

This looks like it might be a memory failure
If so, you could first try reseating the memory. If that doesn't help, you could try replacing it.
Check the label on the RAM in your system, but I think these (or something equivalent) will work:

FYI, stock NV+ systems came with 256 gb

Thank you, this is an extremely useful document!
I wish tech support had sent me this!
Why do you say though that it is the SODIMM?
It is the 1st light that blinks and then all together.
Which is not on this list.
