I have tried all the stuff the helpdesk people said, but the fact that this model is no longer supported did not help...

What, if anything, does the display say during this? You may want to remove the protective film on it so you can read it better. Does it behave any differently if you start it up with no drives installed?
The screen is blank/dead. It seems it fails at the very start of the booting process, before even it displays the "Booting" message on the screen.
Makes no difference if there are drive(s) inserted or not.
