  • Thanks to the several of you who have provided solutions, but this is really something Netgear should have implemented long ago. I for one am moving on to a different brand of NAS because I am tired of waiting endlessly for Netgear to play catch-up. When the devices were from Infrant they were cutting-edge. Now, not so much. If you look at the feature set being provided elsewhere (I would name names, but that increases the likelihood this post will get purged), the ReadyNas feature set is lagging well behind. It's a shame, because for a long time I was a big Netgear fan, and almost my entire network used their equipment, but they've really dropped the ball.
