i first error I found seatools with message error maybe for overheating

now is still testing deep

It seems deep scan on bay 4th showns no problem

I am unclear as to whether Seatools was testing your old disk or a new one.

I'd follow up with the write test (might be called "erase" in seatools).  This is an "advanced" test because it erases the data on the disk.

There are a couple of extra steps needed to enable the advanced tests.

I have had disks that pass the full non-destructive tests, but which fail the write test (and vice versa).

why on this new hdd i cannot do a partition of 4 TB and just one of 1,7 Tb?

The NAS will format and partition the drive.  There is normally a 4 GB partition for the operating system, a small partition for swap, and one or more partitions for the data volume.  The size and number of the data volume partitions depend on the RAID groups that are in the volume.

this one is not the nas hdd is the external antec unit hdd and i cannot split it in 2 TB volumes 2+2=4TB barracuda..

I don't why you need to split it.

But normally you'd right-click on the volume and shrink it to 2 TB.  Then  right-click on the unallocated space, and create a new simple volume.

it is a four TB but it shows just an hdd of 1,679,02 MB

How old is the PC?  Some very old PCs can't handle GPT formatting (and the older MBR formatting is limited to 2 TB).

Old adapter/docks sometimes also don't support GPT.
