Netgear Readydata 5200
Had a power outage and when the NAS was turned back on all the drive lights lit up and flashed for a number of seconds thann no lights. Go to click on any of the shared network drives to the NAS system - no access. You can Ping the NAS system but can not access it. I have downloded and run the "RAIDar" software to find the NAS device - IP yes, click on the "Admin Page" - type in the username and password - screen freezes.
How can I rebuild the system with out lossing the data or copy the data off each of the harddrives in the NAS system?
Urgent.

Is it still running the (Solaris based) ReadyData OS or has been updated to ReadyNAS OS?
Have you connected a VGA monitor and looked for any messages as to what's going on? It could be a hardware issue, not a software one. Could be something as simple as a corruption of the internal boot USB drive.
It's a RAID system, so recovery is going to require simultaneous access to all the dives in any RAID (which is likely all drives).
Unfortunatly, you are going to find few here who know the ReadyData OS. For data recovery, Netgear support is likley your best option, so long as it's not a hardware issue, but you may be able to get some help in a generic Solaris forum.
