Netgear Readynas deleting file mediaID.bin

I have ReadyNas Firmware 6.10.4 and I've copied a windows backup to my readynas. I no longer need this backup and I've deleted it except for the mediaID.bin file. Readynas refuses to delete the file ...

    I'm glad you were able to delete it.  

     

    It is a little odd that the permissions reset didn't result in write access.
