Netgear rn21200 NAS
Have new Mac computer & need to delete existing Time Machine backup to start anew.
After I erased Sparsebundle, I was able to restart TM backup by clicking on "Enable" button to turn off (see attached pic), then immediately clicking on it again (to turn on). Type in new password, then click "Apply" & "OK". Started right up.

Seriously no longer need access to old Mac Time Machine data anymore?

- No need for old Mac backup because I always seem need to start over with new Mac (not sure why). Thank you for your reply. I’ve seen that but don’t know which address to use to connect to server. Greg

You can also find it in your router's attached device list.
FWIW, you should also be able to use the NAS hostname.
