  • Hi there,

I dig up this thread because I'm also interested in this feature.

I've got some Windows7 machines on my network that can access my NAS through CIFS. For these machines, the "Network Recycle bin" works fine. I've already successfully restored some "unwanted" deleted files.

I've got also a Mac OS X machine (OS X 10.7.4) that can access my NAS through AFP. Yesterday I discovered when I delete a network file from my mac, the file is deleted permanently on the network share. Is there any way to get Network Recycle bin with AFP ?

    Thanks for your answer.

  • I would agree it would be nice but Apple don't even support it (any more) themselves on their own OS X Server.
