Networking on RNDP 6000 pro business with OS 6
Hello,
anybody knows if it is possible to replace the two gigabit networkcard with at lest one 10Gb?
Thanks

The NIC part for the RNDP6000 is possibly not replaceable and if it is, 10GB might not be supported by the system. Not really sure if there have been attempts to replace it, not sure if it's soldered or not.
I have not used RNDP6000 but other users might be able to suggest or comment something.

The NIC is a part of the motherboard and there is no way to install a secondary NIC. That's basically true for all ReadyNAS except some rack mount systems. For most (including all desktop models) where a 10GBE option is available, the hardware is proprietary and not available as an add-on -- you must buy the version that has it from the beginning. If you need or think you will ever need 10GBE, buy a model that already has it.
