no USB-drive found on rear USB 3 ports #26234839

Hi there.

 

Xmas is over and i´m about to tinker on my new RN102.

The front USB (USB2) was detected w/o problems - any stick/drive, any format -> R/W-time (as aspected) is very slow.

BUT: on the rear ports (USB3) none of my devices gets detected... my 1TB Samsung USB3-Drive start spinning but in ~10min. it seems to power down., the other sticks even wont flash the power led ...

Connected to the sheel i wont even see any mountable device / media - only when using the rear USB3-ports

 

Is this a case for the support? Do i have to "enable" the Ports on "somemagicplace"?

 

Hardwaredetails:

RN102 w. FW 6.4.1

2x 2TB WD red

      Once connected, the USB disks should appear in the admin web UI under System -> Overview.

       

      If that isn't happening, you could use your 90 support option (support.netgear.com).
