OSX Catalina access problems
I recently upgraded to MACOS Catalina 10.15.7 Initially my Ready NAS worked but it subsequently dropped off the network and nothing I do will let me connect to it. READYCLoud web access works ...

I'm not a Mac owner, so I can't offer much help. Catalina has been out a while, and there haven't been a lot of posts here on issues (though there have been a couple).
You might want to go to system->settings->services->SMB and enable "Legacy Windows Discovery" and "Enhance MacOS" and see if they help. Perhaps also enable UPnP.
If that doesn't help, you could try to add the NAS name and IP address to the Catalina hosts file. That should resolve any name resolution issues, but it is apparently isn't that easy to do. https://www.imore.com/how-edit-your-macs-hosts-file-and-why-you-would-want
If you do edit the hosts file, make sure you reserve the NAS IP address in your router.
But these steps won't resolve issues accessing the NAS by IP address (or issues with not being able to connect to https://nas-ip-address/admin). If you are using AFP for access, you might try switching to SMB.

Firmare 6.10.3
I can connect to the NAS using its ip address and login as admin from Chrome on a Macbook Pro.
Finder was working on this MACbook but it just dropped access ..."Connection failed"
My IMAC cannot access the NAS with finder and trying to access admin using th ip address doesn 't complete
I am wondering if I should boot my NEST WIFI?
cheers
