Convert ReadyNAS 4312X to 4312S

Hello all, we recently purchased a ReadyNas 4312X (copper) and have just discovered it is not compatable with our Cisco nuxus 9372, we should have purchased the 4312S (Optical SFP+). Is there any way...

Welcome to the community.

 

I tried checking the available accessory but I did not see any accessory that would help you with your case. As on how to convert it, I think there are converters that you can use but its going to be 3rd party.

 

Have you tried checking with the store if it can be swapped? The converters might be pricey also, so if its still possible to be exchanged; I will probably go that route.

    Thanks for your reply FramerV, I have asked our supplier if they can exchange and am waiting for there reply (we've thrown out the packaging already), we'll see what they say.
