Ready NAS 1100 (RNR4475) will not power up.

ReadyNAS RNR4475-100NAS will no longer power up.

New power supply didn't solve it even thought the original PS was bad.

If I purchase a used unit (no Drives) can I put my drives into it and recover the data?

ReadyNAS 1100 PSU connector is modified: -12V and -5V is used for +12V. If you are using off the shelf PSU, please pull out -12V and -5V wires. (Pay atteintion not to short circuit)

If you decide to get a new unit rather than replace the PSU please see ReadyNAS: Migrating disks from RAIDiator to OS6

You would need remote assistance from support and there would be some costs involved.

Which RAID level were you using? There are some instructions on the web for using an ordinary x86 Linux machine to attempt data recovery. The instructions do assume the disks, array and volume are fine. If they are not it can be a more involved process.
