ReadyNas 102 new hdd not detected

erf, I reflected a bit over what you said about the disk not getting enough power and I found the cause : I couldn't find the right alim for the nas so I picked something that was matching the connector => a block with 12V - 1A. I tried with another one, this time 12v - 3A and now the NAS can detect the disk (disk led is alight, disk is detected on the web UI).
I feel so dumb --'
Thanks for your help and time.

that's a possibility

Those lines are getting back again and again sometimes with 0x4050000 sometimes with 0x4040000
What happens if you hot-insert the other disks that are not detected?

Great. Note the stock power adapter is 12v - 5A (60w), so this is still lower than it should be.

I know, I plan to buy a new one but at least I'm relieved I don't have to send the disk back
