ReadyNAS 102 not displaying files while also reporting 2/3 of the storage drives are full
I'm a little stumped, so I'm coming here for help. I work closely with a photography business, and recently while setting up a new NAS, they reported not being able to access files on their old NA...

This is also reflected when I pull the drives and check them on a SATA dock. I am able to access information related to the drive in the Disk and Partition wizard in Windows, but this is mainly limited to partition data and sizing.
That part is expected - Windows doesn't understand the file system that the NAS uses.

As the title mentioned, the web GUI displays 1.3TB of data being stored on the device, but under none of the folders am I able to find a single file.
Did you also browse the home folders? They aren't easily browsed from a PC.
One possibility is this was a user error - someone accidentally deleted all the files. If snapshots are enabled for the shares, then the files are still there (just hidden in the snapshots). You could restore the files from the most recent snapshot taken in every share.

This makes sense, but I haven't been able to restore anything effectively. Either the restores I initiate fail or they do not provide me with any additional files. I also checked the log files and can't find anything productive to suggest that the loss of data was initiated by an action with shares or drives. I spoke with someone from the business and they explained that this drive is very infrequently accessed, but it likely stopped working after some rearranging. I'm assuming they pulled the power instead of letting it shut down gracefully, so I also wonder if anything is stored on volatile memory that's necessary to access this data.

You could also try ReclaiMe - connecting a disk to a Windows PC.

Is this by any chance a free utility, or does this need a license to do what I am looking for. Also, do you by any chance know what format the file structure is in? Would I be able to view this drive in a Linux distribution?

ReclaiMe is not free, far from it, but there is a free version you can use to see if it'll do what you want it to.
The RAIDs on OS6 are MDADM and the file system is BTRFS. But if you can't get the volume to mount using the Linux installed on the NAS, it is unlikely you'll have more luck with another distro.
