I have some questions to ask, enumerated below:
- What is the FW version of the NAS?
- How do you copy files from D-Link to ReadyNAS? What method do you use?
- Do you have apps running on the ReadyNAS at the same time?
- Is the ReadyNAS connected to the same hub/switch where the D-Link is?
- How is the speed when you open and copy a file from and to the ReadyNAS on your computer?

I have the latest firmware installed. I have three other NASs going throught the same hub. They get transfer rates of around 7-10 MB/s. That seems to be the case whether I am transfer from the desktop or from NAS to NAS. With this drive I am getting around 500-600 KB/S. I coping files, i use Windows Explorer to transfer.
Here is what I have tried.
I did a reinstall of the OS - no change.
I did a factory reset - no change.
I switched ethernet cords with one of my other NAS drives that have the much faster speeds - no change.
I have tried to transfer from my desktop - seems to be even slower.
I am beginning to think this might be a hardware issue.
