ReadyNAS 426- upgrading storage

I had 5 2TB and then I added 1 4TB drive and I didn't gain any storage but a new data -1 appeared. I have since added 5 more 4 TB drives and let the NAS resync between each drive that I have added. ...

Can you still access the data on the array? I would expect that it is asking you to remove the inactive volume from the 1st 4TB drive that you installed. It probably has an old partition on it.

Can you give us a screenshot of what you see, like this:

    elippy24 Sorry, I'm not sure how I missed that first screenshot. But, it certainly wasn't what I was expecting to see.
    
    I think StephenB is right, the logs are going to be needed. I'd recommend sending him a copy of them as soon as possible
