Yes, you can. Note however that our new models don't support as many EDA500 units so if your RN516 died outside of warranty a suitable replacement NAS unit would only support one EDA500.

Sure. Just felt it was important to point that out. The performance of getting another main chassis e.g. RN316 (you'd connect that to your network via ethernet just like your RN516) would be a lot better than using an expansion chassis, but at the price you've been able to find the EDA500 at the EDA500 does provide quite good value.
Please also note that the warranty is for the original purchaser from an authorised reseller.
