ReadyNAS btrfs: corrupt leaf error

Hi there,

I have a ReadyNAS that recently lost access to the admin gui. Upon review of the diagnostics state the below:

Device - ReadyNAS 2120

Firmware - 6.2.4

This is EOL but hoping that someone could provide some insights or SSH commands I could run to try and isolate/correct this issue, or if the device is in a full stated failed and unrecoverable (we do not have backups and it was stated to implement this, but the powers to be said no).

  • Login as root to the NAS using ssh, e.g. using PuTTY from Windows, permitting you still can:

    cat /proc/mdstat

    ...

    mount

    ...

    btrfs check /dev/md0

    btrfs check /dev/md127

Not a question of powers - not acceptable (negligent, if not criminal) - from the storage operation prospective never updating to a more current build in almost eight years.
