ReadyNAS Discontinued??
Has Netgear discontinued the ReadyNAS Line?
While Netgear always drove folks to use ReadyCloud to access the NAS, even for local access. (a very bad decision, IMHO), there has always been and still is a local interface. The easiest way to get to it is to use RAIDar to discover it and then select Admin Page in RAIDar. Alternately, if you already know the IP address of the NAS, go to https://nas IP address/admin (filling in the appropriate address).
I'm talking about ReadyNASOS Software. The latest release is:
ReadyNASOS-6.10.9-x86_64

Good question. In past years they announced the final software release in the forum, and also sent emails to all customers who had registered their NAS. But I don't think we can count on them doing that this time (given the way they handled the ReadyCloud shutdown).
