ReadyNAS Duo (RND2000 v2) Drive Access
Pulled this out of the cupboard and gave it a dust down and fully reset it, to find out I can not access it using Windows 10/11 due to limitations with web browser. how can I by pass it?

You will have to use an older browser that supports TLS1.0 to access the admin page, IE11 or an older version of Firefox might help.
Are you having errors accessing data using file explorer? You may have to enable support for SMB1

Does the NAS say
- ReadyNAS Duo on the front panel? or
- ReadyNAS Duo v2 on the front panel?

My bad, I changed the password to abc123, can now access the device.
Current firmware is 4.1.16 [1.00a043] is there a latest update available?

Ok. So you have the original Duo. That uses a sparc processor, and runs 4.1.x firmware. The v2 label just means you have hardware revision 2. This is confusing, because Netgear later released the Duo v2, which uses an Arm processor and runs 5.3.x firmware.
Your Duo is just called the v1 here - and if you google for the manuals, you will see that Netgear also now calls it the v1.
The default password for the admin account for your NAS model is netgear1. If that isn't working, then you must have set it to something else before you put it away.
You can do an OS reinstall, that will
- reset the password to netgear1
- reset the network configuration to use DHCP.
Instructions are on pages 15-16 here: https://www.downloads.netgear.com/files/GDC/RND2110/Duov1_NV+v1_HW_en_06Dec11.pdf
Be careful not to do a factory reset (which will destroy your data).
