ReadyNAS Pro 2 BIOS Update before migration to OS6
Hi, I have ReadyNAS Pro2 working on RAIDiator 4.2.31 . I am trying to find the latest BIOS to install it before upgrade of my readynas pro 2 to OS6 Currently my bios date is 09/08/2010 ...

Install http://www.readynas.com/download/addons/x86/4.2/BIOS_Update_Package_0.5-x86.bin as an add-on and reboot the NAS. Since you need a backup any to do the conversion, it's sensible to do this after you back up the NAS (but before you do the OS-6 conversion).

That's the date on mine, and I did run the BIOS update add-on before converting to OS6. I don't think there was actually an update in that package for the Pro2, but it's been a while and I could be misremembering. But you appear to have the latest available.

I don't have a pro2. But looking at the install script in the add-on, it does appear to include the pro2 and ultra2.

Great!
One thing you might look into is upgrading the RAM in the NAS. The Pro2 shipped with 1 GB, comparable OS-6 systems now have 2 GB.
This is one option that should work: https://www.amazon.com/Crucial-CT25664BC1339-SDRAM-Memory-Module/dp/B004XMA6M8
