ReadyNAS Ultra 2 - How to set start day in Backup Schedule?
Hi, How can i specify what day that will actually be considered as the start of a backup schedule? Manuals urge that backup settings are tested manually, but when satisfied with the settings ...

Hi, thanks for your reply.
I am running RAIDiator 4.2.26.
Yes, but that "next scheduled occurrence" isn't really true, when i have performed manual test-backups.
I was hoping that editing settings and saving would reset what is considered to be "next scheduled occurrence" so that the next one would perform a full backup.
I might have to look into your suggestion by having separate jobs for Full and Incremental backups.

Just noticed that it is not possible to create a backup job that never performs a full backup.
It has to make a full backup at least First time then it should hopefully continue and make only incermental backups in eternity.

That's true with 4.2.x firmware. OS-6 has a "never" option.

Yes, it will be incremental after that. So you could start doing the incremental backups days 1-6, and then kick off the full weekly backup on day 7 (using the same destination). That would eliminate doing full backups two days in a row.
