    If you can find another Ultra-6 or Pro-6 you can migrate the disks.  It's best to start with a scratch disk, and match the firmware you had on the old NAS.  Then power down, and move the disks (keeping them in slot order).  The puzzle here is that it is an end-of-life platform, and often second-hand NAS have problems.

    You will need off-load the data, as OS 6 is completely different from OS 4.2.x - so you do need need a factory reset.
