Replacement Disk for RN314
Hi, I have a RN314 with 4 x 2TB Seagate drives (ST2000VX000-1ES164) configured in RAID 5. These drives are end of life so what would be a good replacement for a disk with increasing errors on it?...

If you want to stick with 2 TB, then I'd suggest the WD2002FFSX (WDC Red Pro). It is enterprise-class and purposed for NAS. Seagate's equivalent line (Ironwolf Pro) doesn't have a 2 TB model - it starts at 4 TB.

Personally I'd go with a disk with higher capacity than 2TB.
Agreed. Les62 , if your storage needs are growing, then you should consider going with a bigger size. Note you'd need two disks of the larger size to expand your storage. But you could get one now, and the other later if budget requires that. Both the Red Pro and Ironwolf Pro are good options.
