Do an OS reinstall using the instructions on pages 15-16 of the hardware manual:
If your NAS is running 4.2.x firmware, then
- the admin password will be reset to "netgear1"
- the network configuration will be set to DHCP with no bonding
If your NAS has been converted to run OS-6 firmware then
- the admin password will be reset to "password"
- the network configuration will be reset to DHCP with no bonding
- volume quota will be disabled (it can be re-enabled using the volume settings wheel).
