Upgrade from ready nas 104 to ready nas 2304
Hello i hope some one can point me in the right direction
I have a Ready Nas 104 (6.10.3) with two hard drive in slot 1 and 2 they are mirrored i have got a ready Nas 2304 comeing soon to go in my new rack
What i would like to know can i just take out the drive from 104 and put them in the 2304 with out any problems like the 2304 wanting to formating the drive or do i have to have both nas runing and do some sort of dater transfer between them

Hi hatt001,
Welcome to the Community!
Since both units are running on OS6 firmware, you can just simply move the drives from the RN104 to the RR2304 (keep the order the same) and it should boot normally.
You can also use a spare disk and set up the RR2304 and update it, then insert the disks from RN104 after so you can be sure that the firmware is updated.
If you do have apps installed on the RN104, it is advisable to uninstall those apps first then just install the x86 version of the app after moving the drives.
