When I added a 5th drive I did not gain any space
I have a ReadNAS 516 with the latest firmware. I had 4x 6TB WD RED drives installed on XRAID Raid5 and 16.3GB or storage. I added another 6TB WD RED drive and still only have 16.3TB and still on raid...

Well one option would be to backup your data, do a factory default (wipes all data, settings, everything) and restore your data from backup.

Thank you. That explains a few things.
I think the volume DISK1 was set up by the retailer who had no idea what they were doing and they disabled the raid thinking that was a better way to do it. I had to start again from scratch to undo what they did but I guess I didn't undo their work completely.
I am guessing I canot fix these issues myself?
