Win11 24H2 and ReadyNAS
What did Microsoft do this time...? I allowed my Win11 Plex server to update to 24H2 today, and now it can't get to my ReadyNAS104. Firmware 6.10.10. I can get to it just fine with my desktop Win11...

"Can't get in" in what way? Can't load the UI? Can't access files via SMB? Or just a Plex issue? Does it show up in RAIDar?

Sounds like it might be related to this: Windows-11-24h2-may-block-connections-to-unsecured-third-party-nas-devices . The SMB Plus add-on does allow turning on SMB signing, so give that a try. My Win11 computer hasn't updated to 24H2 yet, so I can't. But I think I'll update a VM and see what happens.

I just updated a VM to 24H2 and I have no problem accessing my NAS. I do have SMBPlus installed, but do not have SMB signing enabled. I'll have to see if I have a sandbox NAS without SMBPlus (I typically install it by default).

FWIW, I just got a PC running 24H2, and it also reaches my NAS with no problems.
SMB Plus is installed, but the settings are all the defaults.
- SMB Encrypt is set to "Auto"
- SMB Signing is disabled.
- Min protocol is SMB 1
- Max protocol is SMB 3.1.1
All shares have SMB Transport Encryption set to "Enabled".
